Featured Listings in Briargate

Situated on the northern side of town, the suburban area offers large homes with convenient shopping centers and malls, parks with views of Pikes Peak, and a variety of playgrounds.

Food & Drink

Donuts & Noodles — Great plates of Vietnamese noodles, bowls of pho, and lines out the door for donuts on the weekends.

Sushi Rakkyo — Huge menu of sushi plus Japanese and Korean entrees to pair with sake and soju.

Thai Mint — Most authentic Thai food in town with a separate gluten free menu. If you usually go for Pad Thai, step out and try the Pad Se Ew. Or if you’re looking for something fresh, have one of our absolute favorites: Som Tum, a shredded green papaya salad seasoned with lime, garlic, and peanuts.

Nights Out

PigLatin Cocina — Not exactly family friendly and definitely not kosher, PigLatin offers delicious margs and some of the BEST food in town. They’re lacing Latin American dishes with Caribbean and Asian flavors for killer plates. Soak up your drinks with the Caribbean Nachos or a side order of chicharron or yuca wedges. We’d be remiss to not share though it’s technically just outside the Briargate area.

Play Outside

John Venezia Community Park — Filled with soccer fields, basketball and pickle ball courts, and a selection of playgrounds including a huge splash pad which is open during the summer season.

Pulpit Rock Park — Nearby Pulpit Rock is worth the climb. It’s a short hike to the top for views across the city.

Rampart Park — Hosts everything from a dog park, BMX track, and disc golf course, to paved walking trails, playground, and lots of sports fields and courts.

Sightsee

United States Air Force Academy — A major training facility for U.S. Air Force Cadets, the property houses a planetarium and the multi-faith modernist-designed Cadet Chapel, both open to the public. Read up about entrance requirements before heading over.
