The newer suburban development is full of large, modern homes in organized neighborhoods. You’ll find plenty of options for the family including shopping, restaurants, a water park, and country club. Just north of Briargate and west of Black Forest, this area offers a convenient commute to the Air Force Academy.

Food & Drink

Bourbon Brothers — Known for their smoked meats - ribs, brisket, pulled pork - and bourbons, they’ve got a full menu of southern-influenced items. Check out their weekend brunches. 

Loyal Coffee — The northern location of this barista-owned and operated roasting company. They produce excellent coffees and non-coffees alike.

Mission Coffee Roasters — Locally owned roasting company making great drinks at their Northgate location and around town through their partnerships with area non-profit organizations.   

Sushi Ato — Dedicated to authentic Japanese food, this full service restaurant creates excellent sushi, ramen, and bento boxes. 

Nights Out

Beasts & Brews — For an evening out here is “the largest self pour taphouse in Colorado,” and for our daytime folks another Sunday brunch option. They’re serving dinner as well with a massive meat-focused menu - vegans might find a salad and a few sides to suit them.

Brass Tap — With more than 150 brews available, you have your pick. The staff are knowledgeable, the games are on, trivia happens regularly, and there’s plenty to eat. 

Play Outside

United States Air Force Academy — Multi-use trails cover more than 23 miles and are open to hikers, bikers, equestrians, cadets, and guests. Read up about entrance requirements before heading over.

Sightsee

Great Wolf Lodge and Water Park — A great addition to our land-locked region. Take the kids for the day or make it overnight for a staycation.  

Overdrive Raceway — Indoor kart driving available for all abilities and nearly all ages (there is a height requirement). Have a multi-generational race when the grands come for a visit.  

Top Golf — Reserve a bay and drive golf balls for fun or competitively. Lessons, classes, KidZone, and a restaurant and bar round out the offerings - you can play all day!
